Most parents would promise a watch, a pen, or maybe even a car to their kids as an incentive to achieve something. But former India star cricketer Virender Sehwag clearly believes in giving his two sons a much larger-than-usual incentive to break his batting records.

Which is why he’s offering his sons a Ferrari, if they break his record.

” Yes, my kids know I have made some humongous scores in Test cricket. So I have told them, if you cross that 319-run mark even in school cricket, I will present you a Ferrari,” Virender Sehwag told cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle .

Sehwag and his family were present at a ceremony at Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in Delhi where the batsman was felicitated.

Sehwag began his career at the Kotla. His only regret has been that he couldn’t beat Brian Lara 400 run record.
