The BSF jawan who claimed to unveil the truth of the ‘pathetic condition’ of BSF soldiers through a serious of videos on his Facebook page, has been credited as a habitual offender of absenteeism and a chronic alcoholic by the BSF authorities, reports Asian Age.
According to the report, T.B. Yadav has been given four serious punishments in the past and has been issued reprimands for “alleged violation of discipline.” In another statement, BSF also said that the jawan was a “bad hat” and has often misbehaved with senior officers.
Meanwhile, MDS Mann, DIG BSF also said that Yadav has had 4 bad enteries in 20 years of service and he wasn’t promoted for the same reason. Maybe this all is his frustration, added MDS Mann.

Recently, Yadav had posted a few videos on Facebook wherein he alleged that the jawans weren’t given adequate food and other facilities because of the prevalent corruption in the higher levels of the organization.
While he added that he didn’t hold any particular government responsible for it, he urged the media to highlight the “poor” conditions of BSF soldiers and request PM Narendra Modi to look into it.
IBT also reports that Yadav had a difficult past and from his initial days in the field, he had been taking counseling.
Due to the wide circulation of the video, Home Minister Rajnath Singh reportedly ordered the home secretary to seek a report from BSF and take an appropriate action for the same. On the other hand, BSF also tweeted that it had sent a senior official to enquire into the matter.
