Time to take a deep breath as the class 12th board results have been declared, and you can check them on the official CBSE site: http://www.cbse.nic.in/.
With an 83.4% pass percentage this year, the overall results appear to be slightly better than in previous years. Due to the expected heavy traffic, CBSE has also arranged alternative ways to check the results. These include the myCBSE app on Google Play or via SMS service.
The SMS service can be availed on the following numbers:
52001 (MTNL)57766 (BSNL)5800002 (Aircel)55456068 (Idea)54321, 51234 and 5333300 (Tata Teleservices)54321202 (Airtel)9212357123 (National Informatics Centre).
The UMANG mobile application can also be used to view the results. Another alternative is to send the text message cbse12 to 7738299899.
CBSE has also tied up with Google, and students can search ‘CBSE board results’ on Google and enter their information in the requisite form.
Reportedly, Hansika Shukla, of Delhi Public School, Ghaziabad, and Karishma Arora, from SD Public School at Muzaffarnagar have emerged as the Class 12 CBSE toppers. Both scored 499 out of 500.
While everyone hopes for a great result, it’s important to remember that marks alone don’t define you. Best of luck!
