Ever since PV Sindhu has touched down in Hyderabad, the felicitations have not stopped. And why would they? Becoming the first Indian woman to win a silver medal at the Olympics is no mean achievement. There was an open top bus parade. There was a big band performing at the Gachibowli stadium. It was all brilliant to watch. We got goosebumps watching some of it, to be perfectly honest.

There were also the comments that made you cringe. Like Andhra Pradesh & Telengana arguing over which side Sindhu belongs to. And then there was the Telengana minister who promised ‘proper coaching’ to Sindhu to help her win gold in Tokyo.

And today, we were blessed with this glorious video of Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu playing badminton on stage with the badminton star.

It is truly brilliant.

He took a while to get going, but towards the end of the video he managed to actually string together a decent rally as the crowd cheered him on.

Top that, Telengana! 

And now we fully expect Sakshi Malik’s felicitation by Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar to be something like this.
