Contrary to popular expectations, this has not been Cristiano Ronaldo’s Euro 2016. The Real Madrid superstar, chasing the record of the first player to score in four different European championships, has failed to find the back of the net even once despite taking 324 shots on goal. (Well 20, actually but that is still more than any other individual player in Euro.)
20 – Cristiano Ronaldo (20 shots, 0 goals) has attempted more shots at #Euro2016 than nine other teams. Toil.

And with a must-win match against Hungary tonight, Ronaldo’s frustrations seem to have worsened and this time it is off the pitch.
C-Ron was caught on camera when he grabbed the microphone from a reporter, who reportedly asks him about his preparations for the Hungary match, and threw into the lake nearby!
Maybe that is how you say “NO COMMENTS” in Portugal.

Portugal will be relying on a drastic turnaround for their captain Cristiano Ronaldo to avoid an embarrassing early Euro 2016 exit.
Ronaldo missed a penalty and other chances as Portugal were held 0-0 by Austria to leave Fernando Santos’s men third in Group F with just two points from two games.
However, victory will guarantee Portugal top spot in the group and avoid a much tougher side of the draw containing hosts France, world champions Germany and England.
“Ronaldo is a player who scores a lot of goals and I’m sure he will score in the next game against Hungary,” said Santos.
