Looks like the BMC is leaving no stone unturned to drag RJ Malishka down for a parody video that held the cooperation accountable for potholes in Mumbai.

Things took an ugly turn when the BMC paid a second visit to the RJ’s house on Friday morning to check for any ‘illegal’ construction from her end.

In a series of tweets, Mirror Now updated that the BMC intends to ready a survey report within 2 days on a possible illegal construction.

Previously, the BMC sent a notice to RJ Malishka for mosquito-breeding at her Bandra home, for which she might have to pay a fine Rs 10,000, reported Hindustan Times

BMC officials informed HT that a person found guilty of mosquito-breeding has to pay a penalty between Rs 2000 and Rs 10,000 under section 381 B of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act.

A notice was issued to the RJ after a routine survey by the municipal body at her 6th floor flat at sun-rise apartments in Pali Naka.

However, many have criticized the timing of the notice that came days after the RJ released a video mocking the BMC over potholes during monsoon and what the common man goes through during the rainy season.

RJ Malishka’s song – ‘Mumbai tula BMC var Bharso Naye Ka’ – (Mumbai…don’t you have faith in BMC) had gone viral on the social media.
