The Delhi police have been put on high alert following intelligence inputs that a lone wolf terrorist might attack crowded areas in Punjab, Haryana and Bihar, apart from Delhi.
As per a Times of India report, anti-terror units of all the states have been asked to act on all “actionable intelligence. Two arms suppliers were arrested in Delhi on Wednesday afternoon.

The Delhi police special cell has issued an advisory alerting its district, metro police and railway police units, asking them to step up security in market areas, religious places, malls and metro and railway stations.
Checking of guesthouses near Jama Masjid and nearby Old Delhi areas has also been intensified.
Police have beefed up surveillance around central and north Delhi and are ensuring that CCTV at all places with high footfall are functional.
