While we are busy switching from one job to another so as to get a hike in salary, there is a group of doctors in Canada who feel that they are being paid too much. Yes, you heard it right!
In an unprecedented move, hundreds of doctors in Quebec are protesting their pay raise, saying they already make too much money.
According to a report by The Washington Post, more than 700 physicians, residents and medical students from the Canadian province had signed an online petition asking for their pay raises to be cancelled.
They want this money to be redistributed among nurses and other professionals, so that healthcare facilities can be made more affordable for the patients.
Twitter as usual, had many reactions. Some found it ‘noble’, while others wanted to move to Canada instead.
