According to Wikipedia, about 10% people of the world’s population is left-handed.
Of course, with the global population rising every second, that figure is bound to fluctuate. But you get the general idea.

And one of the left-handers happens to be Shweta Singh’s 4-year-old daughter who had trouble sharpening pencils at school.
Which prompted her to write a heartfelt letter to Hindustan Pencils telling them about her daughter’s predicament.

And pleasantly enough, Hindustan Pencils, that happens to be the manufacturer of the popular Nataraj and Apsara pencils, responded.

By sending her sharpeners made specially for children with left-handed writing skills.

And also won our hearts in the process.
This letter from Hindustan pencils to a mother who wrote to them about the needs of her left-handed daughter is so heartwarming. It made my day, and not just because I know the kind man behind this gesture. This is a ray of sunshine in our bleak and callous times. pic.twitter.com/4Hfu0bGg1M
