Heavy rains lashed Mumbai and its suburbs on Friday resulting in water logging in several parts of the city.
The city came to a standstill after an incessant downpour lead to traffic snarls during morning peak hours. The flights to and from Mumbai have also been delayed.
Suburban trains on western, central and harbour lines, particularly the trains running from CST to Thane, came to a halt due to water logging on the tracks, reports India Today.
All flights delayed at Mumbai airport due to heavy rains, 6 flights go around, 1 diverted as of now.
