President Barack Obama is wrapping up his work in the White House, but it doesn’t mean he’s having no fun while there. Obama in an interview with People Magazine said he finds snowmen creepy as they have a ‘Chucky’ element to them.

For the uninitiated, this is what Chucky is like:

So to set the Christmas mood, White House staff decided to pull a prank on the President. They that four snowmen placed near the Oval office would be moved closer to the windows every day just to see if anybody noticed them.

Waiting for some snow.

Meanwhile, White House photographer Pete Souza took to Instagram to explain the prank.

He explained how four snowmen were put on a display in the Rose Garden and were intended to be moved closer, but were too heavy too be shifted.

“But finally this morning before the president came to the office, some helpful staff – I won’t say who – moved all the snowmen so each one was peeking through a different window into the Oval.”

The efforts paid off when Obama took the joke well and Souza shared a photo with the caption- he enjoyed the prank.

An unexpected visitor. Check out @PeteSouza’s Instagram for the backstory to this Oval Office prank.
