The Indian Army has reportedly offered the Pakistani Army to take back the bodies of their dead soldiers after a failed attempt by the Border Action Team of the hostile neighbours.

According to India Today, the Pakistani forces have been offered to approach using a white flag and then take over the bodies for last rites. They are yet to respond to the offer.

The infiltration was foiled on the night of July 31 in Kieran sector, Jammu and Kashmir.
According to reports, this was the first major infiltration attempt since the Pulwama terror attack on the 14th of February this year.

Meawhile, defence spokesman Col Rajesh Kalia spoke to reporters about the attack on Kieran sector and said:
A BAT attempt was made on one of the forward posts in Kieran sector [in Kupwara district] and foiled by alert troops resulting in neutralising of five to seven Pakistani regulars/terrorists.

In the last four days, four terrorists have been killed in the region.
