The terror of lynching is reaching new heights every day and the nation is boiling in anger and is up in arms against the spate of recent lynching incidents. But all the pleading voices seem to fall flat on the perpetrators.
In three separate incidents, four people were lynched in the states of Bihar and Jharkhand a day after PM Modi’s open rebuke of lynching mobs, especially those who do it in the name of cow.
On a day Prime Minister Narendra Modi warned that killings in the name of cow protection won’t be tolerated, a man was beaten to death by a mob in Jharkhand on Thursday on suspicion that he was carrying beef in his vehicle. The van was also set on fire.
