Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi’s house in southeast Delhi was burgled and the replica of Nobel citation allegedly stolen, police said today. The original prize is kept at Rashtrapati Bhawan, reports Times of India.

Police said they received a call about the alleged theft of the citation and teams are at the spot to get details of the items stolen. As per TOI, Scrap dealers in the area have been detained by the police while the fingerprints in the house has been recorded by the forensic team. 

Satyarthi is currently abroad, they said. The child rights activist won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014. He shared the prize with Pakistan’s Malala Yousafzai.
