The AIB Roast may have ended but controversies continue. The latest one sees veteran Bollywood director Mahesh Bhatt square off with actress Sonakshi Sinha. After an FIR was filed against 14 members present at the roast, including Mahesh’s daughter Alia Bhatt, we were left wondering why Sonakshi was spared.
Mahesh Bhatt came to his daughter’s defence and issued a public statement saying that the real reason for letting Sonakshi off the hook is because she’s the daughter of BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha.
This is how Ms. Sinha reacted:
