The 56th edition of Femina Miss India is currently underway and participants of the show are ready to fight it out to be the winner, as to whom will represent India at the Miss World competition.
Never known for inclusivity in terms of body type and skin colour, the pageant has come under fire, yet again this year after getting a picture of the finalists published in a newspaper.
Pointing out the lack of inclusivity, people said that all the contestants look similar - at least in the pictures - and have the same skin tone and facial features.

It's no news that the beauty standards for women in the modelling and entertainment industry - are pretty screwed - with people inclined towards the slim and fair.
The same got reinforced with this picture, where weirdly enough, all the contestants look the same.
