Bummed out about your measly appraisal? Well, guess what, there are people who have it worse than you.
Mukesh Ambani, for instance, hasn’t had a hike in salary for the past 11 years.
For 11 years in a row, the richest man in the country has reportedly had to make do with a meagre ₹15 crore a year salary from RIL.
The sum includes salary, allowances, perquisites, and commission. In the absence of a yearly appraisal, Ambani has had to forego approximately over ₹24 crore per year.
Within this pay, his commission has also been the same since 2008-09 — ₹9.53 crore.
The news “No hike in salary for Mukesh Ambani for 11th years in a row” is appearing in almost every website such frequently that I have finally decided to send 100 rupees to Mukesh bhai out of sympathy. Request you to please donate the same amount.

While it isn’t a small sum (let’s be real), he still is setting an example for industry heads who self-assign massive hikes year after year.
This aside, his real-time net worth according to Forbes stands at $52.3 billion — assents, investments, and company revenue combined. So you don’t have to worry. His family isn’t going hungry any time soon.
