Actor Anupam Kher, who was on way to meet students of National Institute of Technology (NIT) in Srinagar to give them “moral support”, has been stopped at the Srinagar airport.
Earlier, he had told mediapersons that he was visiting the troubled institute at a personal level and it was a symbolic gesture.

But soon, Kher alleged he was being stopped at the airport, in a series of tweets:
I have been told by J&K police that I cannot enter Srinagar city at all. I have asked them to show me the orders. Still at the airport.

Asked J&K Police if I can visit my ancestral home or Kheer Bhawani temple. Even that is not allowed. Basically it is #AirportArrest
