A Facebook post snowballed into a nationwide protest at Jantar Mantar on Wednesday evening. 

Not In My Name, a silent citizen protest started by filmmaker Saba Dewan saw thousands across the country throng to designated venues in their concerned cities to express protest against mob-lynchings, especially of Muslims, the recent being the gruesome murder of 16-year old Junaid. 

People from all walks of life armed with posters, instruments and symbolic black band echoed similar emotions in 11 cities against mob justice in the name of religion and questioned the alleged silence of the government.
