PM Modi went for plogging on Mamallapuram beach yesterday and plogging was one of the least talked about things.
On the internet, that is. From him collecting plastic waste in a plastic bag to his pictures on the shore, everything became a topic of discussion.
With all due respect Mr Prime Minister.. I believe plastics are banned in tamilnadu.. Isn't so? Then where did you get this plastic bag? Walk the talk Sir.. No offence meant and non taken I guess.. now students are asking plastic bags saying when modi ji can violate why not me pic.twitter.com/9ULYJ7n5nL— MAIAM SRIDHAR (@SridharMaiam) October 12, 2019
This includes a stick-like thing he was holding while walking on the beach.
It became such a big topic of discussion that the PM himself had to clarify what it was: Turns out, an acupressure roller.
PM Modi tweeted about it today, clearing the air about what was he was holding.
Since yesterday, many of you have been asking - what is it that I was carrying in my hands when I went plogging at a beach in Mamallapuram.— Narendra Modi (@narendramodi) October 13, 2019
It is an acupressure roller that I often use. I have found it to be very helpful. pic.twitter.com/NdL3rR7Bna
As you'd imagine, this sparked a discussion around acupressure and its benefits.
