A 28-year-old nurse from Kerala was stabbed to death in Oman and police suspect that she tried to resist a robbery.
Chikku Robert, who was working at a hospital in Salalah for the past two years, was found dead in her apartment.
Her husband, Linson, who works in the same hospital discovered on Wednesday that she hadn’t reported for duty. When he went home to check at around 11 pm, he found her lying in a pool of blood.

Chikku and Linson had been married for seven months. She was a native of Changanassery in Kottayam and was five months pregnant.
According to a report by Manorama Online, Chikku was attacked when she tried to resist a robbery attempt. A Pakistani national, who was her neighbour has been arrested.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Thursday asked the Indian Ambassador in Oman for a report on the matter.
