Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar, whose term as Rajya Sabha MP ended recently, has donated his entire salary and allowances to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.

According to a report by NDTV, Tendulkar has drawn nearly ₹90 lakh in salaries and other monthly allowances in the past six years.

While he has been criticized a lot for his poor attendance in the Parliament all these years, his gesture has Twitter divided on the issue.

Others considered it a great act of charity and praised the Master Blaster’s decision.

People on Twitter also pointed how he made a difference to society by adopting villages with his MP fund and others should follow suit.
