Following the racial attacks on students from African nations in Greater Noida on Monday, Union External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has asked Uttar Pradesh CM, Yogi Adityanath, for a report on the incident.
In a series of tweets, the tech-savvy minister informed that she was personally overseeing the matter:

She said that the UP CM has assured her of fair investigations:

The tweets follow the violent mob attacks on Nigerians as well as people from other African nations staying in Greater Noida after the death of a Class 12 student, who allegedly died to consumption of narcotic drugs.

Five persons have so far been arrested for the violence. According to UP police, invetsgations are on.
The locals who led a vigil march against people from African countries living in India claim that the foreigners indulge in drug trafficking and other illegal activities. Five Nigerian students staying in the same building as the deceased had earlier been arrested, but no charges were filed against them due to lack of evidence.
The five were even accused of cannibalism.
