While most people just complain about the cleanliness in the country, a few Mumbai students got 80 volunteers together and decided to take matters into their own hands.
They wore gloves, put on masks, picked up brooms and cleaned up an entire station in suburban Mumbai on December 19 with the assistance of locals and civic body staff.
The group not only cleaned the area around the Bandra station, they also extricated rubble and even painted stained walls. They left the area looking a lot better than what it did and expect to return to the station again to clean it up if needed.
