Ever since Pokemon GO has been launched, the world is literally going crazy. And amidst all the madness, we have got hold of the biggest Pokemon Go fan! Tom Currie, who originally worked as a bartender in New Zealand loved the game so much that he quit his job to become a full-time Pokemon hunter.

So, this is what he did: He called his boss, handed in his resignation, packed his bags and set out to travel his island nation in search of his dream of chasing and capturing the 151 virtual creatures on his smartphone. So, far he has managed to capture 91 of them.

Of course, there was another obvious reason for it. He told The Guardian that he was desperate for a break after working for six years and the game gave him the chance to live that dream.

After quitting his job, Currie is now relying on friends and family to help him fund his new lifestyle, and admits that his parents said they were “a little bit baffled” by his decision, he told BBC.

But after his story got picked up, he began getting positive reactions. “My dad sent through a text message saying he always knew I would be famous,” Currie said.

Clearly, Currie doesn’t regret his decision to quit his paying job and appreciates the fact that his quest has led him to explore towns he’s never been and meet different people. The best part, he says, is traveling around instead of having to go to work every day.

Currie also said people have now started to recognize him around New Zealand and that he’s received plenty of encouragement from them. Not only that, he also claims that he gets loads of congratulatory and support messages on Facebook from around the world from America, Ireland, Canada, India and Nepal.

After his Pokémon adventures come to an end, he plans to return to Auckland and find work again but as for now, he wants to catch them all!
