Yes, it’s public knowledge that mobile phones emits harmful radiation, albeit in negligible amounts. But there is no conclusive evidence to prove that it causes cancer.
However, if you are a hypochondriac or don’t want to take any chances, well look no further. Shankar Lal, RSS’s Akhil Bharatiya Gau Sewa pramukh, has a solution for it.
In an interview to Indian Express, the RSS ideologue claims that he applies gobar (cow dung) on the back of his phone to block the harmful radiations of the cellphone.
“Cow is our mother. Its excreta and urine are nectar and have power to save humans from any disease. If cow dung can treat cancer, why can’t it save us from a phone’s microwaves?,” he said while going on to add that he applies fresh cow dung ever week.

He also makes sure that everyone else in his team has gobar on the back of their phones.
Oh and he also adds a caveat that the cow dung must be of an Indian desi cow and not “western monsters” breeds whose dung and milks “are nothing but poison”.
Meanwhile, Twitter ridiculed and mocked the senior RSS leader’s belief like there’s no tomorrow:
Remember Sanghis, cowdung can’t cure cancer but Mother Teresa placing her hand on a patient’s head can! Hallelujah!!!
