In an attempt to control traffic violations, Bengaluru Traffic Police has installed mannequins dressed as traffic cops around the city.
According to India Today, the location of the mannequins will also be changed regularly so that people don’t get used to them.
The mannequins are dressed as police with reflector jackets, white shirts, khaki pants, hats, and black shoes. Some of them have also bee given sunglasses.
Despite traffic fatalities having decreased over a period of time in the city, it has been noticed that traffic violations are rampant throughout the region.
