On Monday, Arnab Goswami’s Republic TV played 19 audio tapes alleging Congress MP Shashi Tharoor’s involvement in his wife Sunanda Pushar’s death.
The minister was quick to jump in his defence, but given his acumen for perfect English, he unleashed such word-bombs on Twitter that no one seemed to comprehend anything.
Have a look at what he said:
Exasperating farrago of distortions, misrepresentations&outright lies being broadcast by an unprincipled showman masquerading as a journalst
— Shashi Tharoor (@ShashiTharoor) May 8, 2017
Farrago! You now know what we mean.
Just like us, people on Twitter were seen trying really hard to wrap their heads around Tharoor’s complex wordplay. And in response, they bombarded Twitter with jokes and memes
