Unnao rape and murder accused former BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar may have been expelled from the party but he recently found a prominent place alongside the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister.
A photo of Sengar was printed alongside PM Modi and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on the occasion of Independence Day in a leading Hindi newspaper of Unnao.
As per a report by News18, the advertisement which was meant to wish residents was funded by Anuj Kumar Dikshit, the Panchayat Chairman of Ugoo area in Unnao. However, he denied having any kind of links with any political party.
Dikshit said, “Kuldeep Singh is MLA of our region and hence his picture is there. I have not mentioned any party in the advertisement. Till the time he is an MLA we will put his pictures.”
Last week, a Delhi court framed charges against Sengar in Unnao rape case. He has also been named in a case that is related to the death of the victim’s father.
That’s not all, another case has been registered against him after the rape victim met with a deadly accident.
