Isn’t ‘rape’ a non-bailable offence?Shouldn’t the judge who granted the bail, be tried for abatement of murder? What is the relevance of judiciary in the present context? Have we heard anything like ‘judicial accountability’ lately?#unnaokibeti #UnnaoCase https://t.co/uYQMCqkTru— Hena Prasun (@Hena19) December 7, 2019

The judiciary let the accused out on bail and he set her on fire when she was in her way to court.
This is the enabling environment that structural violence is providing for what is patently femicide. #UnnaoCase
My deepest condolences to the family of Unnao rape victim. The victim’s death has exposed the double standards of highly stratified Indian patriarchal society. Investigation should be free from any influence or prejudice & justice should be ensured.#UnnaoCase— Siddaramaiah (@siddaramaiah) December 7, 2019
