The directive which was issued by District Magistrate (DM) Chandra Bhushan Singh was welcomed by the workers and managers at petrol pumps.
In a bid to create awareness about road safety, petrol pumps in UP’s Aligarh city are refusing fuel to people who ride their two-wheeler without a helmet.

A social worker in the city also appreciated the move.
I myself came in without a helmet and was denied petrol in almost all the pumps I visited in Aligarh today. I congratulate the DM and his entire team for this initiative and think it should be strictly followed for the safety of the public. This will save a lot of lives.

Twitter is also praising this rule.
Very good excellent decision, UP needs this
