Visiting US Secretary of State John Kerry and his convoy were stuck in massive traffic near Satya Marg on Monday evening due to waterlogging caused by heavy rains while on his way to the hotel from the IGI airport.
The incident came to light after a journalist who was travelling with him tweeted about being stuck in traffic:

Kerry, who arrived to participate in the 2nd Indo-US Strategic and Commercial Dialogue, was heading to a hotel in Chanakyapuri in south Delhi when it was stuck in the traffic jam near Satya Marg today, an official said.
Senior Delhi Police and traffic officials declined to share details of the incident claiming it was a “security matter”.
However, Delhi Police officials told the Times of India that he wasn’t stuck in traffic. But they said other Delhi residents might have been stuck as traffic was halted to let the US secretary of state through.
Here’s how some reacted to the incident:
Sorry @JohnKerry misery loves company. You have our sympathies being stuck in Delhi traffic, but we r also kinda glad it’s such a leveller
