An NGO has alleged that an American tourist was allegedly gangraped by five men in March at a five-star hotel in Connaught Place, police said on Saturday.
According to police, they were investigating a complaint from an NGO, through an email, stating that the US citizen was gangraped by five men who entered into her room on the pretext of some tour and travel related work.
A Times of India report said the tourist had hired the tourist guide from an agency suggested by the hotel authorities.
One day, as per the report, the guide arrived at the hotel along with four other friends and entered her room. After having few drinks together, the guide forced himself on her. His other friends then also took turns to rape her as well.
