A woman threw ink, some papers and a CD at Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal during a thanksgiving rally about the odd-even 15-day trial of traffic measures in the national capital on Sunday.

The young woman, who was detained immediately after the incident, has identified herself as Bhawana from Aam Aadmi Sena’s Punjab unit, a splinter group of AAP formed by party defectors.

Initial TV reports said the woman was protesting over a “CNG scam.”

“Let her go, leave her. Whenever something good happens in Delhi, this is what happens,” Kejriwal said as police officers present at the scene rounded her up after the attack.

According to NDTV, the chief minister was addressing a gathering of nearly 5,000 people at Chhatrasal Stadium to thank Delhi residents for what the government says was a successful odd-even car rationing trial.
