None of us are oblivious to the sacrifices made by our naval officers. Time and again, they have laid down their lives for the safety of their countrymen and sometimes, even for their fellow soldiers.
In one such incident, newly-married Lieutenant Commander DS Chauhan lost his life trying to douse fire onboard INS Vikramaditya.
The news of his demise was announced by spokesperson of the Indian Navy in a series of tweets on April 26.
