Cubans have been mourning  the death of leftist leader and revolutionary Fidel Castro, who died on Friday,  after surviving hundreds of murder attempts. Thousands of people gathered in the Cuban city of Havana on Monday to pay their last tributes to the leader who continues to be a hero and saviour to Cubans. 

Cuba will follow a week long mourning period for its “El Comandante”, and thousands flocked to Havana’s legendary Revolution Square to kick off the week-long mourning.
