The ongoing tussle between Puducherry’s Lt Governor Kiran Bedi and the state’s Congress government clearly doesn’t seem to end. The latest in this political tug-of-war are posters depicting Bedi as Hitler which have been allegedly put up by the Congress.

Kiran Bedi has been sharing posters which show her has Hitler as well as goddess Kali on Twitter. With a clear intent to take a jibe at the former Delhi super cop, the posters depict her as a dictator.

Here is what she has tweeted:

The posters were printed for a Congress protest to demand Bedi’s exit from Puducherry.

Since her appointment as the Lt Governor last year by the Centre, Bedi has always had a troubled relationship with the government, especially with the chief minister V Narayanasamy.

However, this seems to be a reaction to the recent controversy over the nomination of the three BJP persons to the assembly by the Union Home ministry and their induction as members at the Raj Nivas by the Lt Governor.

Earlier this month, Congress protested outside the Raj Bhawan and organised a bandh in the state against Bedi’s ‘style of functioning.’

Chief Minister V Narayanasamy has termed her action a ‘murder of democracy’ and has accused her of working like a ‘BJP agent’. Bedi has, however, maintained that she had acted under the provisions of the Union Territories Act 1963 to induct the three members.
