Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar, whose term as Rajya Sabha MP ended recently, has donated his entire salary and allowances to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.
According to a report by NDTV, Tendulkar has drawn nearly ₹90 lakh in salaries and other monthly allowances in the past six years.
While he has been criticized a lot for his poor attendance in the Parliament all these years, his gesture has Twitter divided on the issue.
But question is still remain same! When his attendence only 7% than why paid him full salery? We respect SRT but don't try to make entire nation as #EmotionalFool— Anuj Tiwari (@krishnaaquatech) April 1, 2018
