Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar, whose term as Rajya Sabha MP ended recently, has donated his entire salary and allowances to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.

According to a report by NDTV, Tendulkar has drawn nearly ₹90 lakh in salaries and other monthly allowances in the past six years.

While he has been criticized a lot for his poor attendance in the Parliament all these years, his gesture has Twitter divided on the issue.

This act has not gone down well with some, and people are questioning whether he really deserved that salary after such a low attendance.

Others considered it a great act of charity and praised the Master Blaster's decision.

People on Twitter also pointed how he made a difference to society by adopting villages with his MP fund and others should follow suit.
