But, in a rare blue moon occasion on Thursday, the Little Master was seen attending a Rajya Sabha session. But he did not ask any questions.
Well, his visit seems to have been prompted after jibes from an MP just two days ago, who said that if Sachin was so uninterested in his duties, he should resign from Rajya Sabha.
The Twitterati got together to troll the Master Blaster:
Senior Congress leader Manish Tewari asked why any media house should be considering it as news at all
Why should his attending be an event ? It is his duty to do so ? Not doing so is dereliction of duty .... https://t.co/qguPgsL9rb— Manish Tewari (@ManishTewari) August 3, 2017
Some pointed out it's because of his record:
He was mercilessly trolled

Some even pointed out how it's a waste of a seat.
Who made Sachin Tendulkar Rajya sabha MP. Waste of seat and wast of public money....— TheGiniKhan (@giniromet) August 3, 2017
One fan was disappointed to see his role model misusing the power.
Lost a lot of respect for Sachin Tendulkar. Role model, sure, but exploited his Rajya Sabha seat while greedily enjoying the perks from it.— aN-uP 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳 (@anupsjaiswal) August 3, 2017
