Coca-Cola has appointed inspirational Indian leader Sourav Ganguly as their social ambassador in lieu of the promoting the U-17 FIFA World Cup to be held in India in 2017.

The cricketing great is a huge football fan and also co-owns one of the franchises in Indian Super League (Atletico de Kolkata).

Ganguly will replace his former opening partner, Sachin Tendulkar, as his football connection is much more than the batting genius.
