Nothing escapes the eyes of social media. Every time during a cricket match, when the camera inevitably catches something or someone interesting, social media latches on to it. On some days, that’s a bad thing.

Today is not one of those days.

Yesterday, the camera caught a distraught Pakistani fan watching in disappointment and anger as his team kept dropping easy catches.

Millions of fans everywhere saw him on TV and then the ICC acknowledging him was enough for his photo to go viral.

Naturally, the tweets started coming in.

Bit obvious, but okay!

Oh, they are all pissed!

Every brown dad ever after they see your board results.

Pakistan reporter Zainab Abbas tracked down the man and sat with him to know why he reacted the way he did.

I could see it land on his hand and then he dropped it, so it was really disappointing to see it happen right in front of me. And I couldn’t say anything because he had just come off a family tragedy, so I didn’t shout at him.

Well, one can’t blame him. That was a pretty bad day for Pakistan on the field.
