For those living under a rock, our national women’s team won the SAFF (South Asian Football Federation Championship) for the 5th consecutive time last Friday.
India scored 3 goals against Nepal. One of them was by Dalima Chhibber.

I don’t need to add that it was a stunning goal, but I am kind of dying to.
The 21-year-old Delhi-born striker completely stole the show with her 26th-minute free kick, making the ball fly above the heads of the opponents and sending the crowd into a frenzy. With this, she also laid the foundation of India’s victory.

India defeated Nepal 3-1 on their homeground to clinch the title and extend its unbeaten run in the tournament to 23. The other two goals came from Grace Dangmei and substitute Anju Tamang as the country lifted the trophy at Sahid Rangashala Stadium.
