Harbhajan Singh has received a major boost as the off-spinner has been selected for India's lone Test in Bangladesh. Bhajji has returned to the Test side after a long gap of 2 years.
His inclusion is a bit surprising as the veteran only played 3 first-class matches last season. But he has done well with Mumbai Indians in the IPL and that seems to be the new selection criteria.
Bhajji must thank the likes of R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja too as they have been absolutely abysmal for India in Tests of late, leaving the selectors no option but to go with him.
The 34-year-old has played 101 Tests for India picking 413 wickets. He also has 2 Test hundreds to his name.
