Irfan Pathan was one of the high-profile names to have got the IPL snub at the auction held on 20th February. He and Ishant Sharma were the two Indian pacers with cherished international records who did not find a single buyer and will sit out of the 10th IPL season.
But while one has chosen not to respond, the other has sent a heartwarming message to his fans.

Irfan, who shot to the limelight as a deadly swing bowler in the early 2000s, suffered from injuries and the process of converting into an all-rounder, hasn’t played international cricket since 2012. But he’s still been in action at the IPL. And if one is to believe his message, he’s going nowhere.
The Baroda boy also showed some fine form during the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament – dismissing Shikhar Dhawan, Yuvraj Singh and Rishabh Pant in one spell during the West Zone vs North Zone tie.
Pathan has played in 24 T20Is, 29 Tests and a 120 ODIs for India.
Does he have one more comeback in him?
