Virat Kohli and Cristiano Ronaldo belong to different sports, but they have a lot in common. From immeasurable passion, to their zeal to perfect their game and freakish dedication to physical fitness – there are so many things that bind both the sportspersons together.

Kohli’s motto is similar to that of Ronaldo; if you work hard enough, nothing can stop you from ruling the world. The Indian skipper had earlier shared how the Real Madrid footballer’s work ethic inspires him. Now in an interview with Star Sports, Kohli claimed that in his mind, he thinks of himself as star footballer Ronaldo.

Kohli was speaking over the upcoming Celebrity Classico match between cricketers and Bollywood stars. The Delhi lad will lead the All Heart FC against Ranbir Kapoor’s All Stars FC.

On the topic of how good a footballer he is, Kohli bragged that his FIFA rating should not be less than 98 as he is a complete footballer. The 28-year-old said he can use both feet equally well. He can also shoot and pass well.

Talking about strategies for the upcoming game, the right-handed batsman said that former skipper MS Dhoni could play on the wing or as a center forward as he can read a pass well and has the required pace. Kohli also revealed that Karnataka cricketer Manish Pandey is the best footballer in the Indian team.

“MS (Dhoni) I think would be right winger because he is pretty quick, maybe he can be centre-forward as well. His positioning is very good and he reads passes very well. Manish (Pandey) is the best footballer in the team. He is playing in the midfield position,” Kohli said.
