Bangladesh are gearing up to host India in the one-off Test starting from June 10 at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah but they have already lost half the battle.

As their skipper and the most consistent batter, Mushfiqur Rahim, is most likely to miss the important match because of the finger injury he suffered in the recently concluded Pakistan series.

Rahim is one of the most experienced Bangladeshi with 45 Test outings. And he has always liked India as the opposition scoring one ton, and he averages 61 in the two Tests he has played against India.

The Bangla Tigers are hoping for their skipper to recover in time and are also exploring the option of playing him as a pure batsman.
