Rohit Sharma struck 147, Virat Kohli made 113 and the pair stitched together a partnership of 230 runs for the second wicket to help India post 337 in the must-win match against New Zealand in Kanpur.

Having been asked to bat first in the final ODI of the three-match series, it was pivotal for India to amass a big total. The opening batsman and the skipper took the responsibility and played one of the best innings of their ODI career.

Both the innings had everything a cricket fan wants to see: elegance, maturity and big-hitting.

It was Kohli’s 32 ODI ton and the batsman received massive applause on Twitter.

Twitterati also hailed Rohit for his 15th ODI ton.
