Shami suffered injury while representing India at the World Cup and completed the tournament in pain. He missed the IPL and the recently-concluded Bangladesh series as well.
Shami was missed severely in the series loss against Bangladesh but the UP pacer is highly unlikely to play a part before India’s series against South Africa in October.
