South Africa, after winning three consecutive matches on Indian soil, handed the hosts their first-win as they couldn’t chase down a mediocre 248 and gifted India a 2-run win.

MS Dhoni went from the villain in the previous match to the hero at Indore as his 86-ball 92 was the reason India got close to the 250 run-mark in front of Dale Steyn (3/49) and company.

Scoring less than 5 runs an over was the temptation that killed the Proteas as all of their batsmen committed suicide trying to play the big shots.

Indian spinners, Axar Patel (3/39) and Harbhajan Singh (2/51), were good and got good backing from Bhuvneshwar Kumar (3/41) to level the 5-match series 1-1.
