Netflix just released an original docu-series titled ‘Cricket Fever: Mumbai Indians’. No points for guessing what it’s based on.
This is how Twitter reviewed the series.

Not a big cricket fan but I’m loving Cricket Fever: Mumbai Indians on #netflixuk The passion for the game out there is so infectious. Also I really want one of those VR rides that owners were showing off in ep 2😎 #cricket #mumbai

Binge watching ‘Cricket Fever: Mumbai Indians’ on @NetflixIndia What a series for a freak fan of @mipaltan like me. This brings us so close to know more about the players and the franchise as a whole. How the psychological factors come and role of support staff 😍💙 pic.twitter.com/gEIhEH6i8s

Cricket Fever: Mumbai Indians was interesting. Good to see IPL teams behind the scenes and truly see how big the competition is! No T20 competition comes close! #IPL

Few things about Netflix’s Cricket Fever: Mumbai Indians
— Rohit Rajan (@rhtrajan) March 4, 2019
1. It’s boring to the core. The way it’s edited makes you cringe!
2. It looks like nobody in the team is enjoying the game. They all look like they are forced to play.
3. Overall it looks like a PR video of Ambanis!
Cricket Fever: Mumbai Indians is such an insightful watch. A very cool narrative format too. On Netflix now.

Polly isn’t what he acts on the field man. Cricket Fever : MI proved that. Restored a whole lot of respect for him

Cricket fever. Really surprised and disappointed with the role a captain has! Rohit is just sitting around and staring with his sleepy face. It’s all Mahela running things. #CricketFever

Finished Cricket Fever. The stories that the did on the players and their backgrounds, really stood out.

It has its obv shortcomings like lack of contextual editing and the randomly ‘planted’ fans.
PS: We were all so wrong about Pollard. Guy’s a gem off the field.
Cricket Fever on @netflix is totally addictive. Don’t plan on watching just one episode. I did. And I’m still sitting here. Son of a gun!
